WA: Pre primary teacher jailed for sexually abusing his students

PERTH, Feb 19 AAP - A 41-year-old former pre-primary teacher was jailed for at least
12 years today for sexually abusing his young charges.

Mark Pendelton pleaded guilty in Perth District Court to 130 charges - including sexual
penetration and procuring children for sexual acts.

The court was told Pendelton kept a written record of his indecent dealings with children
and took photographs of his victims.

Judge Hal Jackson said there was a high risk of Pendelton reoffending so his sentence
should not be reviewed for at least 12 years.
