Qld: Coalition enters Queensland election campaign as underdog

BRISBANE, Jan 13 AAP - The Queensland coalition has its best chance in six years to
win an election, but will enter the poll on February 7 as the underdog.

Opposition leader Lawrence Springborg, who took over from Mike Horan early last year,
has spent the past 12 months rebuilding a devastated team.

Premier Peter Beattie led his party to win three-quarters of the seats in the Queensland
