NSW: Terror bill unconstitutional: Greens
The Greens say the New South Wales government's proposed anti-terrorism laws are unconstitutionaland could be struck out by the state's Supreme Court.
Greens MP LEE RHIANNON says a clause in the Bill restricts court review of the policeminister's role in terrorism situations, and is simply an unconstitutional grab for power.
Ms RHIANNON says the Greens will seek to have the offending clause amended in debatethis afternoon.
