Scarecrows in village.

MORE than 30 new residents are moving into Burton Agnes.

It is hosting its annual scarecrow festival with displays in many gardens scattered around the village.

The event runs from Saturday until Sunday, August 13, and has been organised by a group of schoolgirls as part of the Humberside Police Lifestyle Project.

Maps, priced [pounds sterling]1, and children's quizzes, priced 50p, will be available from the car park at Burton Agnes Hall each day from 10am-8pm.
